This makes it that much more difficult to trust your instincts when a potentially dangerous situation comes up. If they know and trust their attacker, women might not see the attack coming. Many people don’t think about self defense and kids. We know we want to protect our kids. We teach them to not talk to strangers. We tell them to run away but we don’t teach them how to protect themselves should something where to happen. Kids are very trusting by nature. And they are very curious.
