Self Defense – How to Protect Your Kids

Many people don’t think about self defense and kids. We know we want to protect our kids. We teach them to not talk to strangers. We tell them to run away but we don’t teach them how to protect themselves should something where to happen. Kids are very trusting by nature. And they are very curious. Both traits are what can get them into trouble. Children also do not have the instinct to assess a situation as being dangerous. It is up to the parents to teach kids what is a dangerous situation and what isn’t. (more…)

Self Defense – How to Protect Your Child from Bullies

Self defense is not just about being able to protect yourself when you are physically attacked. There are many ways you can be attacked and learning how to handle each situation will help your kid’s feel more confident. Bullying behavior may seem very minor when you hear in the media about kids bringing guns to school and doing drugs. It has been proven that bullying is an early form of aggression and violent behavior. It is this behavior that leads one in four bullies to perform criminal acts before the age of 30. (more…)
